| SAE 4340 Forged H-Beam Connecting Rods | ||||

ACCESS H-Beam rods are precision forged of select 4340 steel, vacuum degassed to remove impurities. Each rod is CNC machined, heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened and magnufluxed to ensure completely satisfactory performance. The rod bores are finished on Sunnen hones to +/-.0002" tolerance. We install silicon bronze bushings for increased wear resistance and precision ground alignment sleeves in the rod cap to prevent cap walk under high horsepower loads. Each set is weight-matched to +/- 1 gram. All rods include genuine ARP 8740 cap screws with reduced head height to facilitate stroker applications. | |||
